Third-party templating languages mentioned, not covered

On page 312, right above the heading "Layouts and Templates" the book promises to deliver "a quick survey of third-party templating languages available that integrate nicely with Rails" but then doesn't. Need a couple of paragraphs added describing HAML and Markaby. (Thanks to tonyc in caboose for reporting this issue.)
