Add inline code blocks where code was not properly formatted in word docs

Reported by Eliza | April 28th, 2010 @ 07:40 PM | in The Rails 3 Way

Upside down question marks appear in the latex output where \verb sections should be added, but were not formatted as such in the original word document.

I did a search for these upside-down question marks, ¿, and found none - is that the correct character or can I get an example of where this is showing up?

That is the correct character as it was output into the PDF (it isn't present in the tex files). Using Mac Preview, if I searched for that character, it wasn't able to find it in the document despite its presence.

I wouldn't be surprised if, in all the editing, code blocks have been added at all the appropriate places by now.

    • Tag changed from up for grabs, latex to latex

Going to mark resolved from now. I'll have to go through the entire manuscript as I incorporate copyedits, so I'm not too worried about it.
